haiku for Smart* "For he is of the tribe of Tiger" —Christopher Smart, from Jubilate Agno (1759-1763, published 1939) the dishes are done I consider my cat Smart poet of the house unlike you, it seems where is your yellow sweater? Amazing cat poem! Checked out Smart’s Jubilate Agno and got reminded of TS Elliot and his poems on cats and The naming of cats. Cats inspiring poetry and haikus, but why shouldn’t they. Imagine only if only they could write poems as well.
