Once again very effective. Alliteration, a bit, but not overly so. I like the similar words butting near each other to drive home the theme. It has a childlike wonder about it, but ( probably ) a child beyond his means in thought , yet tethered to inescapable reality, ultimately. Very nice, indeed! Water always gets me.

HORIZON HUNG ( Well put, clever, never heard that term before! ) Backwards = GNUH NOZIROH ( silent G ) so NUH NOZIROH ( maybe silent H, too! next NUNOZIROH our new HERO? ) Will you give me permission to use this new backwards word ( how 'bout simply a BACKWORD ) in something I write, please?

Permission to use a backword? forword backword, no permission required! But I suppose the great thing about a backword is it’s unsearchable, if you’re not that clever anyway.
