To those who want to go , there’s nothing left to say . They leap off the bridge. Take the plunge. A shot heard in the darkness of the mind. Trigger pulled, they couldn’t wait and had no answer to their fate. A minute or second chance was not offered. A reach to hands that failed to grasp, to hear the silence within that could not express they had a train ticket to ride and we watch them die. Why?
Stark poem man of aran. This line stands out "kneeling without a prayer" as it gives a vivid and solemn answer to the difficult topic you've chosen to write about. Pushed over the limits and yet your poem deals with this in a dignified way.
Thank you, Mike, and for sharing that. Always good to hear one is not alone.
Beautiful. Thank you, Alan.
Thank you, Eddie. Appreciate.
Bless your beautiful being.
So kind. Thank you, Dian.
Gosh...

Why, indeed. I've used the train ride analogy myself, a runaway train. Thanks for your words, Richard.

I appreciate that, Writer. A subject like this, one wonders whether it can work. Best.
When you write from the heart you can write about most subjects.
Your poem is an offering to the world, Alan.
Appreciate the sentiment, Fotini. It means a lot.
Thankyou for this. Powerful and needed.💜
Thank you, Dick. Yes, attention must be paid, as I think Arthur Miller said.
Perfectly put 💜
Wow.
poignantly powerful.
Thanks for that, Ronald.
Suicide is awful and we all ought to do something to reduce the rates. We need to be kinder and help others.
Yes, very true. It’s a big discussion. Thanks for your thoughts, Ayesha!
