.. have you ever suffered ‘fear of heights’ - actual vertigo - experienced ‘falling’ .. momentary agoraphobia - almost drowning - fear of suffocation - mild or excessive claustrophobia - feeling ‘crushed - fear of the dark ?
Thanks, Thomas. Yes, I am phobic about heights, in fact. Not that serious, but enough to prevent me from going onto a high rise balcony. A bit claustrophobic, too.
Very nice! I like how each stanza has its own voice, yet they flow cohesively. I enjoyed in particular how dense the first stanza is: dense in meaning-rich words.
I hijacked the ‘zorbing’ analogy for good reason .. but threw in a personal experience re VERTIGO.. which is a stunning experience I respect - rather than fear - as it’s cause in that particular situation was obvious
Have experienced every Phobia Event mentioned in my previous reply.. including the experience of ‘Falling’ .. even the ‘Crushing when was mebbe three years old .. but all were mere fragmentary & to be expected - this type of stuff is also expanded in my post about ‘A Good Day To Die’ (not sure how I feel about that, haha - mebbe delay investigation in that die-rection eh ! 🦎🏴☠️
What a wonderful love poem. Such a build/fall to “My ground, my love.” 🌹
Thanks, Dian!
A suspension bridge would be my downfall.
Funny, an early draft did include a suspension bridge! But the list was getting too long.

Whoa! This one is a real stunner. Wonderfully done.
I love the way you do so much with an image that's preset.
Bravo!
Much appreciated, Jefferdman!
“… no need to fall …” Nicely turned.
Thanks, Jonathan!
There is so much that I love about this poem - shall I count the ways?
I did have acrophobia, it's not so bad now...you?
Thanks Franci! Yes, a strain of acrophobia. As an adult, not when I was a kid. Not too bad though. Glad it doesn’t bother you too much anymore.

Thanks Mike. Glad to hear for you it holds together.
Wonderful. Keep them coming, Alan!
Doing my best, Ronald! Thanks for being here.

Wild stuff, that zorbing. Know the edges, but stay safe, Thomas!
