When wars end, pants cone down to let loose freedom at the seams. The twenties we a time of let loose change that were soon censored by prohibition collars and movies that roped scenes to come. Yet laughter prevails. Antidote to our times seen as suspenders popped to let life loosen the threads that have held us together.

Great job Alan. My grandpa was born in 1897 and was on the farm during that first war but he said a lot of men came back who only wanted to laugh because, you got the feeling that "if they started to cry they would never stop."
