This is wonderfully personal and disturbing, full of messy teenage memories and ambiguities, somehow tugging at my subconscious and challenging self-constructed certainties. I really like this one Alan. Thanks for sharing.
Junion High can be tough. I love the portrayal of the gang mentality with "toughs" and "hangers on." Paul Adair is what I call a sheepdog, and the world needs more of them, not the wolves who prey on the sheep.
Wow! This feels very personal. So what did you find inside?
The antics of kids
youth that kicks
Open some wounds
Closes some doors
Hanging on hinges
Blown away cringes
Chem labs clouds
Clear the scene
Kids are kids
Just this once
Wonderful associations weaving down to the frog. Images triggering memories triggering metaphors. 🙏
Quite powerful. An avalanche. Rock after rock.
God bless Paul Adair. No small act of mercy is wasted.
I’ve got nothing. Other than I do like his outfit.
