I can't remember much of what the movie was about, but I love your poem re-imagining the scene in the photo and all the possibilities pertaining to what's going on and what could happen next. So much of life is like that--infinite possibilities collapsing into one finite outcome.
Appreciate it, Deborah, love your take, 'collapsing' into one finite outcome. Thanks, too, for the share. Highly recommend the movie, if you like suspenseful spy thrillers with a light touch and a dash of romance.
A wonderful movie. James Mason showed me the right way for a fictional villain to act.
Inimitable. With a great bit part by Martin Landau as well.
Always worth a rewatch. I think often of the crop duster when I'm out in a field or on the high plains. Indelible image sequence.
Yes, very memorable. Thanks for reading, Jeremy!
My pleasure!
Hitch made great films. This one is among my favorites.
Up there with Rear Window, Vertigo, Psycho, etc. Thanks, Frederick!
